Jeryn the Giant?

We spent Sunday in Chicago before driving back to TN.  We spent some time at Millennium Park downtown Chicago.  I took this picture of Jeryn chillin' in the grass.
This picture turned out great - it looks like she's squashing little people with her hands.  She's half as tall as the skyscrapers.

We had a great time walking around the city and exploring Michigan Ave. (also known as The Magnificent Mile) and the sites of the city.

Wouldn't you know it, Jeryn enjoyed some ice cream with Grandpa:

Congrats Brad and Kristi Johnson!

Brad and Kristi tied the knot on Saturday night in Milwaukee!  We were fortunate enough to make the road trip and had a tremendous time!  Thanks guys!
The reception was at the Intercontinental in Milwaukee.  Gorgeous place and the food was amazing!  Of course, the dancing was tons of fun too!!
We spent some good quality time catching up with our friends Heidi and Jeff!
The walls of the hotel had this cool fabric on it.  I think they had an employee who's only job was to brush the walls.  Jeff made a nice design while we were waiting for the bar to open:

The bride finally got a chance to meet Jeryn as well!
Drew?  Good work.

Phhheww...I'm pooped.  Time for bed...

Good morning!

This is how I found Jeryn this morning in her crib...SITTING!! This is a first and we aren't sure how she did it, but she sure was having fun and thought it was pretty funny being able to see me approach her crib:-) I wonder if we will find her this way tomorrow as well? I tried to capture her face, but her room was still a bit dark...yes this was at 5:30am... and she kept looking away from the camera as the flash was so bright.

Doggy Toys

I think Jeryn has more fun with Lolly's toys than she does!

Teeth!

Jeryn was helping me in the kitchen today. This is a good shot of her new top teeth...they are little hard to see here, but if you click on the pics to the right on Flickr you can see the picture in a bigger size.

Who Loves Cheerios?

Boy the camera sure captures her fuzzy hair. It makes me laugh every time :-)

Buddies

Lolly...or should I say Larry... has started to share her balls with Jeryn. They are getting to be good buddies. Every day they seem to both be more interested in each other. Jeryn wants to touch Lolly and Lolly wants to lick Jeryn. So cute! Lolly has also started to realize the high chair is the place to be!

Trying to Crawl...not quite there yet

This is Jeryn's new daily routine....try, try , try to crawl and then get frustrated when she sees something she can't get to. It won't be long before she is on the move! The baby gate has been ordered for the stairs and the outlets are covered...oh boy!

I love Water!

Jeryn loves to swim in her new pool and she also is enjoying bathtime. She loves to splash and even laughs when she splashes herself in the face:-)

Mexican Dress

Josh's mom got Jeryn a Mexican dress on their vacation this past Spring. I finally put her in it today. So cute!

Lolly or Larry?

Josh, Jeryn, Lolly and I were on a walk yesterday afternoon in our neighborhood and Josh somehow.....we don't know how or why... referred to Lolly as Larry! It was the funniest thing. I was laughing so hard that I had tears. Most people in the Anderson Family have nicknames and now Lolly has hers, unfortunately it is nothing cool it is just Larry :-)

3 Weeks in Minnesota!

Grandpa enjoyed feeding Jeryn some carrots.

Uncle Chuck did his special "Babycise" with Jeryn. She really got a workout!

Grandma Pam gave Jeryn the most fun toy on earth....a spoon!

I got to see some good friends from my old job at Methodist. (Shilah, Janelle and Nissa)
Jeryn was a bit afraid of the lake. So, we bought her a little pool for the deck...What a hit!!

More Pics of our 3 Weeks in MN

Lolly was loving the lake as always.

These are our freinds Jeff and Heidi. They came to visit at the cabin.

Auntie Kirk and uncle Chuck enjoying some precious Jeryn time.

We found out Jeryn loves to swing at the park. She was having a great time!

35th Wedding Anniversary/Father's Day

WOW! Tom and Beth celebrated their 35th wedding anniversary on June 16th. Way to go guys! Josh and I only hope to have as wonderful a marriage as they have. What an awesome example of what marriage should be. We love you two!
So, we decided along with Kirk and Chuck that we would give them a little party to celebrate. After Jeryn's baptism, we sent them out of the house for a few hours while we prepared. Needless to say it was quite chaotic and very funny, but we had a great time doing it. We also gave Tom his father's day gift that evening. I included a picture of him posing with it. Any guesses? He thought it was a reading light until we told him it was a light for the grill...HA! Pretty big reading light Tommy!

Jeryn's Baptism

We had Jeryn baptized in Brainerd on Father's Day. It was the kickoff to a great three weeks at home. We had a wonderful brunch put on by Josh's mom completed with a Dairy Queen cake...Mmm! Jeryn enjoyed some along with all the adults.
