Tennessee Wedding!

We made it back to Tennessee for a dear friend's wedding!  We felt so fortunate to be back and part of the celebration!  The girls had a blast at their first wedding!

More Visitors from America!

Our wonderful neighbors from Tennessee came for a weekend visit as part of a European Anniversary Vacation.  We were so happy to have John and Jen stay with us for a couple days and show them the best of Chester, and an incredible castle in Northern Wales.

It was so nice to see you!  Thanks for making the journey and brining a little bit of America back with you!

Trip 24: Lake District (England's "Best View")

To celebrate Mara's 4th birthday, we hit the road to meet up with some American friends in the Lake Distri ct.  We were blessed with incredible weather, great company, and the opportunity to explore some fantastic landscapes.

We found the English equivalent of Yosemite, only it seems like most Brits must not know about it because there were only about 20 other people around.  Maybe it is because you need to drive for 65 minutes down crazy roads fighting sheep, cows, and a few other vehicles on one-way roads like this:

A ladybug party wouldn't be complete without crowns/hats!! Our token boy, Cooper, got to make a cool pirate hat (no 5 yr old boy should be caught dead in a ladybug crown!)

Jeryn and Lauren- BEST buds!

Well, my intentions of getting pictures of both girls "dressed up" last night failed. Mara fell asleep in her pink blanket and so we didn't even use the lady bug blanket like I had planned. I got a few pictures while Jeryn was trick or treating and that was it. I guess all that matters is she had a fabulous time! Lauren was so sweet and walked with her towards the end. Now I have the task of answering the question, "Where is my candy Mom?" and "Can I have a sucker now Mom?" for the next week. It was a fun day and a GREAT weekend!

We have been blessed with the most wonderful neighbors right across the street. We see them daily and they watch Jeryn for us when I work. They truly are THE BEST! Leslie and I call each other to borrow things like garlic salt, eggs and diced tomatoes on a fairly regular basis. Todd loans us his hedge trimmer and we loan him our ladder to hang Christmas lights. Jeryn LOVES Jacob, Lillie and Lauren! All my life I have wanted to live somewhere and have neighbors like we do here in TN. Thanks for being our awesome neighbors Franklin's!
