Swing Swing Swing!

Jeryn's new addiction is her swing in the back yard. We just got it for her and she LOVES it! She wants to spend all day in her swing. I took a few shots today while we were outside after our walk.  She finally will wear her sunglasses and it is just too cute!

Honk Honk!

Jeryn discovered a new fun game...wouldn't you know it, our kitchen has 3 bus stops:

Popsicle Time

Can I just say that Popsicle Brand Mighty Mini's are an awesome product!! They are half the size of a regular popsicle, have a smaller wooden stick and they added gelatin to help them melt slower.....who knew!?!? I think I might need to go to their website and make a comment about how wonderful they are! If you have toddlers or even older kids these taste great and are not messy. Popsicle-filled summer look out! Here come the Anderson's!!

Cuddles

Today Jeryn wanted me to wrap her and her baby together in a receiving blanket. She is such a nurturer already.

Sorry About the New Format

So since our blog got 'hacked' by Photobucket again, we decided to update it.
Hopefully, it's not too confusing.  Hopefully, we can let you get used to this one.

The main background picture is one that we took along the Pacific Coast Highway when we lived in California.
Enjoy.  More postings coming soon...

Jeryn enjoyed wearing her lil swimmer on her head and her shades this morning...we think she looks a bit gangsta in this pic. What do you think?

How Unfortunate: Mr. Crapo

So while we were watching the news tonight, we were thankful that we are not from Idaho.  Nothing against the state, but their senator has a unique last name.

It's probably ironic that he is on the Senate Budget Committee with the state of this economy.

15 Months....already!!.

Jeryn had her 15 month appt today with the pediatrician. Once again she weighed in very petite. Only 18.5 lbs! She is so much fun these days bringing us the books she wants read to her, and pointing at everything.  She is walking all over and I am sure that running is just around the corner. She is signing "Please" and "More" for food and help with things. We will see how adventurous I get whether she learns any other signs. It would be nice for her to know "Thank you", but right now I think it might be confusing. 15 months has gone by fast! These were just a few shots I took today while she was having her snack.

Beaches, Sunsets, and Snow = Road-trip

Hi everyone.  Here are just a few highlights on our road trip to Florida to visit family...

Here we are with Josh's Aunt Lil and Uncle Jerry.  They were great tour guides and hosts for our trip!  So much fun!
They took us to the smallest post office in the United States.  We mailed our friend Maggie's Birthday card from here.  We hope it didn't get lost in the vast pile of mail they get daily...
We checked out the Everglades National Park and Big Cypress National Preserve while we were there.  Jeryn had a great time and we saw lots of gators!

They sure have big claws!  Look out!  Ouch!

We capped off the visit with a great sunset at Naples Pier.  Hundreds of people show up for the sunset and everyone cheers as the sun sets.  It was really pretty.
The road trip was fun, but certainly a long drive.  Not to mention that we had to trek through some heavy weather.   Fortunately, we made it safe and sound!  Atlanta was in the middle of a snowstorm as we made it home.  Hotlanta?  Not in March...
We came home to find that Murfreesboro had been hit with 7" of snow!  Ahh?!  Most of it melted by Sunday afternoon, but welcome home I guess, huh?
Here are the rest of the shots from our trip...
