Santa Express 2011
The Santa Express makes an appearance each year in our neighborhood. It has been a couple years since we have joined in the fun. This year Jeryn sat on Santa's lap and asked for glitter glue. It was sweet. Here are a few pics with our neighbors, Audrey and Lydia, as the girls waited on Santa to arrive.

Birthday Party!
Jeryn will be turning 4 on
November 29th. We celebrated yesterday with a gymnastics party at E.T.C. Gymnastics, and had a fabulous dragonfly cake from my good friend, Renee Westergard. It was a lot of fun. The kids really enjoyed all the running, tumbling, and bouncing. I enjoyed coming home and not having to clean up after a party! We ended the night with a present from Mom and Dad... matching snowman jammies! Happy almost birthday Jeryn!

Crazy Time of Day...
If you know us well, you know we put our girls to bed quite early most nights. Mara's current bedtime is 6:30 or so and Jeryn's is between 7:30 and 8pm. Shared bath time is a rare occurrence at this stage, but it sure is fun!
Listen to what I know...
Jeryn has learned many things in preschool this year. When she told us she knew the days of the week and months of the year we had to get it on tape...in her Halloween jammies of course!

HATS!
A ladybug party wouldn't be complete without crowns/hats!! Our token boy, Cooper, got to make a cool pirate hat (no 5 yr old boy should be caught dead in a ladybug crown!)

Baby Blue Eyes
Baby blue eyes turns 1 tomorrow. Our cute girl is growing up so fast:( We love you so much sweetie!

Anyone with small children can relate to this...
One of the gifts of digital photography is that you can take multiple images quickly with little repercussion. This is especially handy since capturing a great image with a toddler is nearly impossible. That was essentially our experience this afternoon.
We intended to get a nice photo with mom and her two sweet girls along the Greenway in town. I captured these seven images quickly. Mara's face tells the story.
