A little Jeep for a little girl...

Mara has been riding along with Jeryn in the BIG Barbie Jeep this Spring and has been having a lovely time. We were at a play date the other day and they had a very small toddler sized riding toy and Mara loved it! She drove it all over the yard and into EVERYTHING (she's one, she can't steer!!) So, we decided to use her gift card from Great Aunt Char and Uncle Stan to put towards buying her very own little motorized toy and boy she can't get enough!

Painting the Driveway

When one of your children is sick ...AGAIN, and you have to cancel out of more play dates... AGAIN; there is nothing else to do but paint the driveway in your new swimming suits from Grandma! I think it took me longer to make the paint than it did for them to paint with it before getting out the hose! They sure enjoyed it!

I found these cute shoes at a consignment sale back in the beginning of February. I bought them because they were cute. I didn't realize they were squeakers! Thank goodness the squeaker is removable. This was both Mara and Lolly's reaction the first time she had them on...

A Weekend in MN

Despite spreading a terrible stomach bug to most everyone we came into contact with, we really enjoyed our long weekend at Auntie J's and Uncle Betty's condo.

Santa Express 2011

The Santa Express makes an appearance each year in our neighborhood. It has been a couple years since we have joined in the fun. This year Jeryn sat on Santa's lap and asked for glitter glue.
