Follow these simple instructions...

Installing the car seat wasn't too hard, except for the incredible force required to strap it down tight...

Hopefully, Mr. or Ms. baby Anderson will arrive soon to try it out...

Still waiting...

The official due date is 11/23/07...guess on the actual birthdate.

Finally November!!

Well, baby month has finally arrived. Josh is safely home from Tennessee and so we are ready to meet this baby any day now...well, I guess as ready as we will ever be. 3 weeks and counting until our due date of November 23rd which means only 3 weeks until Thanksgiving for anyone who is keeping track. Wow, time flies!

Things here are going well. Stressfull, as you may imagine planning for your first child as well as a move across the country would be, but we are optomistic:) Keep us in your prayers and we hope to be calling and blogging pictures of this mystery child soon.

Headed East!?!

Hmm...wasn't really in our plans, but we'll be moving a few thousand miles across the country to Tennessee in a few weeks (click on the map for a closer look):

In case you're wondering, here are a few fun things that we've heard of in Tennessee (thanks Kirk):

1. Grand Ole Opry
2. Jack Daniels Distillery - Strange that it's in a dry county, huh?
3. Memphis Zoo - What's black and white and cute all over? Giant Pandas!
4. Smokey Mountain National Park - The most visited National Park in the country.

The next few weeks will be amazingly busy, so check the blog for updates!
We'll miss you California!

Last trip to Napa? At least for a while...

We had a nice trip to Napa this weekend with our close friends Toni and Drew. Being as our little bambino can't drink wine for a while, it might be our last trip for a few years...
Outing couldn't drink, so she enjoyed a nice 2007 Capri-Sun at Sterling Winery:)

Here's a shot of Robert Mondavi Winery:

All four of us at Sterling...

Check out the amazing castle at Castello Di Amorosa. It took them 14 years to build!! They're still working on the moat.

I love the fountain at Franciscan...

One Last Trip?

In preparation for our upcoming bundle of joy, we took a long weekend to San Diego. What a great city! I only wish we could afford to live there. Here are a few picture highlights:

This shot is from our hotel in Coronado towards downtown.
Here's one of La Jolla Cove. This was definitely a must-see! Great place to scamper on the rocks.
We also hit Balboa Park. We didn't see Rocky, but there were some cool museums and buildings:
We went to the Wild Animal Park. See if you can see the camouflaged animals in these two pictures. Can you see them?

Here's one last shot we took on our walk back from the restaurant to our hotel. It pretty much sums up all of San Diego:
Here's a quick summary of the rest of our trip.

Surprise in MN!

Outing put together a great surprise 30th Birthday Party for me while we visited the cabin back in Minnesota! We spent some time with a lot of good friends!

The weather was great! We did a little boating, tubing, and of course the traditional Anderson Family backyard games. The lake level was low, but we were able to get across the lake to Ernie's for some Greenies with only minor damage to the prop.

They don't make virgin Greenies, so Outing had a Reddie:

With DNR authority, we were able to have a "contained fire" in the evening. Guess who was in charge of ensuring it was "contained"...

Hey Jeff, is it too hot?

It's Saturday Night

Well, I turned 30 on Monday. Our friends Toni and Kristi also had birthdays around the same time, so we decided to throw another SNL themed party.

I thought the party needed more cowbell. Outing made a great superfan:

Our friends Jeff and Brad, brought their Christmas presents:

A few other characters made an appearance...Cheerleaders, Turd Ferguson, Mango, and Canteen Boy to name a few...Here's a link to a few more pictures.

MN Visitors

My parents were in Sacramento this weekend, so we took a short road trip to Point Lobos State Reserve. Here are a few pictures from our trip:
Somehow, a wave snuck up on me and drenched my feet. I'm fairly certain that my dad's to blame...notice the seaweed in his right hand...We stopped in Carmel for the morning and spent some time walking the shops. We stopped in the Robert Knight Photography Studio and saw some really amazing pictures. Fortunately, he was in the studio this day. He is genuinely nice guy and he spend some time sharing his amazing stories with us. Here's a shot he took at Point Lobos:We also wandered into the Carmel Bay Company and found this funny children's book about Cowlicks, so we had to buy it. Given my childhood hair styles, I'm sure our baby will face the same challenge!

Thanks Mom and Dad for a fun trip! See you in a few weeks!

Unbelievable!

Here's a scary look at the I-35W bridge collapse in Minneapolis last night. This picture was pulled from the Kare 11 News website. The American Red Cross is on the scene...here's how you can donate to the relief effort. Dozens are still missing.
