Unbeknownst to me, Jeryn grabbed a pear out of the fruit bowl while she was coloring this morning. I guess she was hungry! So, I put her bib on and let her go at it.

Smokies Part 2

Here are a few more highlights from this past weekend.

In addition, to some great views, we had a little adventure as well...

Outing rolled her ankle on the 6 mile hike. Although it was concerning at the time, it turned out to be an exciting adventure. Here's the play-by-play:

1. Roll your ankle (notice Jeryn's reaction).

2. Faint.

3. Get carried down the last 1 mile by two strong men.

4. Get an x-ray at the smallest clinic in the Appalachians.

5. Enjoy your new walking cast.

Fortunately, it wasn't broken...just a bad sprain.

"A,B,C,D,E,F,G,H,I,J,K,L,M,N,O,P,Q,R,S,T,U,V,W,X,Y,Z, now I know my ABC's, next time won't you sing with meeeeeeeeeee." Boy, have I been singing this one a lot lately (by request of course)! I guess it has paid off a bit. Today Jeryn started to sing along. At 22 months (today) I am REALLY impressed that she has caught on as much as she has. Way to go Jeryn!! You are getting to be so, so big. Where has the time gone? I can't believe your 2nd birthday is right around the corner.
