Santa Visits Our Neighborhood!

Santa made a special stop in Savannah Ridge last night! He brought along some of his most favorite elves too!! The kids could get onto the festive bus and say hello if they chose to. Jeryn, did not make this choice. She did choose to have Daddy hold her while she pointed at Santa on the bus and said repeatedly, "No, noooo, nooooooo!" Needless to say, we watched from the sidelines. The first picture is of Lillie reading to Jake, Lauren, Jeryn (although you can't really see her) and Jacob while we were eagerly awaiting Santa's arrival.

The kids who chose to sit on his lap were so surprised when Santa knew their names and what they wanted for Christmas!

I'm Ready Mom!

Jeryn got into her suitcase with her babies and her blankie this morning. Maybe she wants us to pack her instead of bring her on the plane with us on Saturday?

Pretty Lights!

We traveled to Nashville on Sunday evening to find our way to Vanderbilt Medical Center, my new place of employment 2 days a week beginning in the new year, and then on to Opryland to look at the lights. They were beautiful and so was the manger scene. Definitely a must see from now on.

A Few of my Favorite Songs...

The 2 year mark has brought on a whole new world of singing for Jeryn! These are just a few of her favorites, sure to be added to in the near future. If you find yourself a fan of these, keep an eye out for more "Songs by Jeryn" in the coming posts.

Night on the Town

We were fortunate enough to head out to Nashville last night with Tom and Beth. The evening started out at Sambuca for dinner. The food was delish and the live music, The Diggy Band, was wonderful entertainment. Then off to the "Nashvegas strip" we went. We checked out Boot Country where Tom lost the battle of the boots and came home empty handed :-( Then we danced the night away at The Stage, Tootsies and Legends. What a GREAT night! Can't wait to see if Tom gets some "catalog boots" when he gets home! Ha!

The Hunt

We took Grandma and Grandpa on a hunt for the perfect Christmas tree this morning. Here are a couple pictures of our GREAT find!

Carseat and Dryer

Jeryn officially turns 2 on Sunday, so we finally turned her car seat forward facing on our trip to get a Christmas Tree today. The bottom picture is her in the dryer. She decided the other day that she wanted to get in. What a silly girl!
