Today is Outing's birthday!  Yeah!!  Jeryn was very excited for mommy:)

Mom wanted to go to Sonic for birthday dinner:)  (Neither one of us have been there before, so we captured the event)!

The shake/dessert menu is pretty fun!

And the burgers are delicious...

Happy Memorial Day

We visited Fall Creek Falls State Park on Saturday!  It was a nice day trip involving a little hike.  As you can see, Jeryn likes nature walks in the Baby Bjorn.

At 256', Fall Creek Falls is the highest waterfalls in the Eastern US.

Similar to Rock City, we had to walk the plank to get to the falls...not real easy to do with a dog and a baby.

Jeryn noticed that it was time to go.  Hope everyone had a fun and safe weekend!

Giggle Girl

Hi everyone.  I'm learning to giggle:)  Apparently, I'm a little ticklish.

I also learned that the key to rolling over is hitting myself with my toy.

Wine Barrel Table

This past weekend Josh finished sanding one of the two unfinished wine barrels in our garage. Then he painted the Woodbridge logo on it. We bought the barrels from Woodbridge Winery in Lodi, CA before we moved here.  In addition to this barrel, we also have a really neat table in our garage that Josh made out of two wine barrels. We hope to get that moved into the house sometime soon as well.

Fishies!

Auntie Janessa got Jeryn this adorable fishie outfit this Spring. She is wearing it for the first time today so we decided to have a little picture session before her nap. It is her only fishie outfit and we just love it. Thanks Auntie Janessa and we hope you feel better soon!

Wiggle Worm

I don't know if she was trying to tell me something or what, but she was wiggling her way right out of that chair before my eyes. Had to get a picture before she got upset that she was stuck. She couldn't quite get herself all the way out, just uncomfortably to the bottom of the chair :-)

Playtime

Jeryn is getting stronger and having more fun with her toys every day. On Friday we had a little photo session while she was playing. We both enjoyed it:) I think she likes posing for Mommy.

Learning to Sit!

At 5 1/2 months Jeryn is learning to sit. She sure gives it a valiant effort, but usually ends up tipping over onto the floor. It sure has been fun to watch as she grows. It has also been fun to listen to her babble with new sounds every day! We wouldn't be surprised if in the next few days she rolls from her back to her tummy. She is EVER SO close to accomplishing the feat! Pretty soon she will be on the go:-) Look out Mommy!
