Lake Tahoe Weekend

We had a great trip to California over the weekend. Unfortunately it was for a funeral (Josh's former boss). Overall, we were able to make the best of it and spend some great time with friends. Here are a few highlights:

Jeryn and Lolly have been becoming best buds lately...well, if you ask Jeryn they have been. If you ask Lolly I think it would be a different answer!

Picnic at Arrington Vineyards

So who might have guessed, but Tennessee actually has a winery or two. It's not quite the same as California, but we were impressed with this place.  It's called Arrington Vineyards and it's owned by Kix Brooks (as in Brooks and Dunn).

We took Jody there and had a lovely picnic lunch.

First owie

Jeryn got her first owie today while hiking at the State Park.  Just a nice little skinned knee.  Amazingly, it didn't phase her a bit - not a cry or anything!

Party!! Dad's in Charge!

Hi guys.  Mom's in MN visiting some friends.  So yep, my dad is in charge.  Well actually, I am, but he thinks he is...

I had a Dairy Queen Blizzard for lunch (Oreo), I stay up as late as I want (which turns out is  7:30pm), watch whatever I want on TV, play outside all day, skip naptime, and break all of Mom's rules!

Oops, I spilled...

Yesterday we went hiking at a couple of state parks nearby.  It was our first trip to Old Stone State Park.  It's less then 30 minutes from the house.  My Dad took lots of pictures of waterfalls.  I thought it was pretty cool too.

It was our second trip to Fall Creek Falls.
