I recently painted Jeryn's toenails for the first time. She was really excited to have pink toenails like Mommy!

Grandma and Grandpa's Visit

Grandma and Grandpa came for a visit this past weekend. It was a great time! Unfortunately, I had to be in Minnesota for my Grandmother's funeral, but Jeryn was able to stay here in TN and enjoy company for a long weekend.

Jeryn ventured to the Nashville Zoo and had fun playing in the new sand box with Grandma and Grandpa. Other fun activities included, coloring the driveway with lots of fun chalk messages for me when I got home on Sunday and Daddy and Grandpa fixing up her tricycle so she can reach the pedals. Overall, it was a wonderful weekend and we are excited to know that we will be back in MN in a few short weeks for Elsa's baptism. See you again soon family!

Hiking Season

Jeryn and I had our first hiking trip of the season. We checked out a couple new parks in Eastern Tennessee. It was a bit of a drive, but well worth it:

Jeryn received an Easter package in the mail the other day from her loving aunt and uncle in MN. It contained a new book, some cool stickers and a crayon made especially for the bathtub....Ooo what fun!

When I saw her over here last night I thought for sure she was going to open the door to let the dogs outside!! AGH!!! But, then I realized she was only turning the outside light on and off. Phew! I am not ready to get those terrible door handle protectors yet. They make it hard to get out of the house for anyone! Oh, and side note, she was wearing the new shorts and t-shirt I bought for her yesterday. Really not appropriate for the weather, but it was almost bedtime.

We have been watching Abby since last Wed while her Mom and Dad take one last vacation before they have their first baby in May. We just found out about an hour ago that they won't be arriving in until late tonight, sooooooooooo now we have 3 dogs staying at the house! Our neighbors asked if we could watch Sam for them while they are gone this week. We didn't think there would be overlap between all three! It will be an interesting night here at The Anderson Kennel.
