Yosemite Part 2
We spent the weekend at Yosemite again! A little hiking and some great views! Check out a few more picts:
Our friend Drew and his brother-in-law climbed Half Dome with another one of their friends. Given my acrophobia, I didn't have the guts (or stupidity, depending on your perspective) to join them. It's probably good that I didn't...there was a serious accident on the cables that would have freaked me out. This shot overlooking Nevada Falls was high enough for me...it was a 500ft drop off this rock.
We stayed at Summerdale Campground again, only this time we brought Lolly with us. She got to play with Alex in the stream...tons of doggy fun!

We hiked Vernal and Nevada Falls. It wasn't a bad hike - less than four hours roundtrip.

Our Willow Tree Wallowed in the Wind
It has been very windy in California this Spring. Our Willow Tree finally gave in and cracked right down the middle. We are really bummed. Below are some pictures of Josh trying to mend the tree as best he can.

Twins lose:(
The Twins were in the area this weekend, so we took the BART to see them play in Oakland on Saturday. Although they lost 1-0, we had a good time with our friends.
The best part was the fireworks show after the game! We got to watch from the outfield! The grass was sweet!
I think fireworks is the only way that people would come see the A's. I wonder if the Twins ever thought of that. It might be fun to start lighting fireworks in the Big Inflatable Toilet...what do you think?

Busy Birthday Weekend!
Sunday was Outing's Birthday! Yeah! We had a busy holiday weekend...Incline Village, South Lake Tahoe, and Napa! Bummer that Outing couldn't wine taste in Napa, but we had a great time! Here are some highlights...
Thursday night, I showed a few co-workers how to open a Champagne bottle. It makes for quite a show. Here's the evidence:
On Saturday we went to South Lake with some friends. We needed some exercise, so a few of us hiked up Gunbarrel at Heavenly to get a better view...
Dan taught us all to scamper up rocks...we look kinda like a Cingular commercial, huh? 
We rented a house for the weekend. Can't complain about the view, huh?
It did have a strange moose on the wall though:
Jeff and Heidi got Outing a birthday cheesecake, and Drew and Toni got her some jalepeno cheese and chips! An appearent pregnancy favorite! Thanks guys!
Sterling Winery is one of our favorite wineries. They had their cellar sale this weekend, so on Monday we drove up to Napa for the day to stock up. Outing tested the water and crackers...yum yum:
The last highlight I'll share is from a cut-thoat game of Apples to Apples on Saturday night. I had an epic meltdown in which I lost after it was determined that beaches were more colorful than rainbows. Arghhh! :)

Yosemite Weekend!
Check out our pictures from our first trip to Yosemite this weekend! What a beautiful place! Here's our group on top of Yosemite Falls. 
Here's Outing and I at the base of Bridalveil Falls.
I guess this is a big tree - even bigger than Court's wingspan.
Oops...we saw the sign after the picture. 
We hiked Yosemite Falls on Saturday...it was a long hike at 7.2 miles (2700 feet up), but well worth it! It took us 2.5 hours up, and 1.75 hours down. Made for a full day:)

Target Tent
Originally from Northern Minnesota you would think we would have a tent by now...NOPE! Just bought one this weekend for our upcoming trip to Yosemite National Park. We did a pretty good job with our trial set-up in the back yard huh?
