Weekend Shades and Ice Cream!

It was a hot weekend so we decided Dairy Queen would be a good treat. Jeryn didn't know what to think of Daddy's cone. We also tried out her sunglasses. They finally fit her little head, so we will bring them to the cabin next weekend to wear by the lake. Can't wait to get home and see everyone!!

Solids...She's not too sure about this.

These are progression shots... The first one was before. The second is her gagging on the first bite and the third is her still not really into the cereal thing. She didn't do too bad actually. I think I was able to get her to swallow 4 or 5 bites. I thought this was good for our first try:-) We will see how it goes in the upcoming days! By the time we get to MN in a couple weeks she will be eating...or should I say gagging on cereal and veggies! YAY for the big girl!

Jeryn's New Exersaucer...We never knew this was even a word until we became parents. I don't think you will find it in the dictionary. But she sure likes this thing!

She's a scooter!

Jeryn has developed her own way of getting around....she scoots! It is just about the cutest thing in the world, but I really have to keep my eye on her now as she is just a scootin' everywhere! AGH! We aren't sure if she will learn to crawl since this seems to be working out pretty well for her.

Happy Birthday Outing!

Today is Outing's birthday!  Yeah!!  Jeryn was very excited for mommy:)

Mom wanted to go to Sonic for birthday dinner:)  (Neither one of us have been there before, so we captured the event)!

The shake/dessert menu is pretty fun!

And the burgers are delicious...

Happy Memorial Day

We visited Fall Creek Falls State Park on Saturday!  It was a nice day trip involving a little hike.  As you can see, Jeryn likes nature walks in the Baby Bjorn.

At 256', Fall Creek Falls is the highest waterfalls in the Eastern US.

Similar to Rock City, we had to walk the plank to get to the falls...not real easy to do with a dog and a baby.

Jeryn noticed that it was time to go.  Hope everyone had a fun and safe weekend!

Giggle Girl
