Preschool Program 2011

Jeryn had her end of the year program with preschool tonight. It was OVER THE TOP cute! We didn't really get any good pictures as there were a lot of people there, but I hope we can get the video on the blog this weekend. I'll have to sweet talk Josh to do it while I am at work tomorrow night. (In case you can't see her, her white hair matches her white sweater)

Preschool Pajama Day

It was pajama day at preschool today. This was Jeryn's first dress-up day for school. She was so excited to wear her princess slippers from mom and matching nightgown that she inherited from Lauren. There were tents, sleeping bags and flashlights galore. It sounds like it was a fun morning. I was surprised to actually get a smile for this picture considering when I asked if I could take it, she quickly replied, "Nooooooooooo." Mara was in her jammies too, but it's hard to tell.

Today was Jeryn's first day of preschool in the 2's class. We have been preparing a lot in the last month or so by talking about school and reading, Llama Llama Misses Mama a book about going to school for the first time. She has been so excited, but you never know until the day arrives how they will do when you say good bye. Let's just say she had already found her teacher and cubby by the time I was done signing her in! It was a GREAT success and she can't wait to go back for her first full day on Thursday. I am so excited that she is so excited!
